Grandmaster Doug Jones, also known as the Kungfu Cowboy, is an avid horseman with a ranch in the Oakland Hills. He is the director/owner of the Equine Kungfu Wellness Center, a non-profit which infuses equestrian arts with martial arts for the Oakland Community. It is the very essence of kungfu, skill through the accumulation of hard work and time. With a rich background from growing up in West Oakland, the Kungfu Cowboy is a big part of the Oakland history and knows the benefit of adding nature, horses, and Kungfu to everyone’s life.

The definition of Kungfu is skill through the accumulation of hard work and time. Something I’ve learned as a martial artist for over 44 years. It is also how I’ve trained as a cowboy and how I can offer the following services to you.
